Klara Doshlov is a producer and assistant director working across independent features, international co-productions, documentaries, and commercial productions throughout the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East. After spending more than a decade as an assistant director on acclaimed productions including The Union (Netflix), Robin Hood (MGM+), Fair Play (Sundance 2023), and You Won't Be Alone (Sundance 2022), she brings a deep understanding of every stage of production to her work as a producer.
Her producing credits include The Black Emperor of Broadway (2020), which premiered at the Brooklyn Film Festival, the Serbia episode of NBA Take 2's Nomad series featuring NBA legend Joakim Noah, and the upcoming documentary Heimat (Watan) which is a German-Balkan co-production, along with a range of branded and short-form projects from music videos to commercials.
Klara served as a jury member for the 2025 Aster Film Festival, evaluating official selection films and participating in award decisions alongside fellow industry professionals. The Serbian Association of Dramatic Writers invited her to be the closing speaker at the Joy of Unity Festival in Belgrade in 2025, where she spoke on the topic of “The New Generation and the Global Future of Serbian Cinema” focusing on international production standards, cross-border experience across the U.S., U.K., Europe, and the Middle East, and the evolving role of emerging filmmakers in shaping the industry’s future.
A New York City native based in Belgrade, Klara is a former Serbian National Team figure skater and five-time National Champion. Her background in elite sport continues to shape the discipline, resilience, and precision she brings to every production.

Klara develops original feature films and short-form projects, with a focus on character-driven stories rooted in identity, resilience, and human connection. Since 2016, she has written four feature screenplays and multiple short films, including an award-winning short.
In addition to her original work, she collaborates with filmmakers as a script consultant and adapts true stories and existing material for the screen. She writes in English, Serbian, Spanish, and French.
